Counseling in Nashua NH Introduction

Welcome and thank-you for giving me the opportunity to introduce myself and counseling services. I specialize in working through issues of daily life and transition with adult individuals and couples.  After 30 years of practicing psychotherapy there is one question I have always been asked: How do I feel about listening to people's problems?  My answer: It is not so much a matter of listening to problems, as it is bearing witness to courage and grace under fire as my clients share with me and attempt to work through their life stories.  It is an honor to be entrusted by an individual who is asking me to join them in learning how to better cope with life.  I am inspired by them.  It is a privilege when a client chooses my counseling services and I am committed to giving the highest level of professional care.

I am known for supporting my clients with an approach that is empathetic and gentle, helping to heal their deepest wounds, yet direct and challenging enough to help confront their worst conflicts.  I believe in engaging my clients in conversation, not sitting in silence.  I also firmly believe that humor is a universal healer!
